I have really been paying close attention to the people I encounter and how they react in certain situations.

I’ve always been one of those who like to people watch, but it was more of a ‘what they’re wearing’ standpoint. Now, I seem to have really started noticing body language and such. I’m fascinated more and more with the human condition.

What fascinates you?

Everytime we have a “Friday the 13th” I can’t help but think about those movies in the 80′s that I watched time and time again. They were SO stupid, but yet I loved them each and every one.

I’m not the superstitious type, so I don’t expect weird things on Friday the 13th, but I know some people do. What about you?

I’ve been feeling dizzy for several days and finally went to the doc. He confirmed what I’ve known for years, that I’m a real dizzy blonde :) .

I have to smile about it since it has kept me from doing some of my favorite thinkgs, including having a normal work day and training for the 5k. That has been highly frustrating, but I know it shall pass soon, at least I hope.

I’m not sure how it happened, but obviously I missed the memo that said wearing furry things that look like a flattened “Fi Fi” is the IN thing to wear to the beach this summer.

I guess I’d better be careful when we take JJ since he could wind up as someones beach jacket.

Looks like Marcel has gotten himself a girlfriend. I turned my back for on second at the train station and caught him kissing someone else. heehee

Obviously I wouldn’t be laughing if that were actually true. We were playing around. Actually I was the one goofing off, but I talked Marcel into playing along.

Marcel is a huge fan of “The people of Wal-Mart” website. I admit that when I want to shake my head in disbelief at some of the things that people will wear out in public- that I’ve been known to have a peek myself.

I’m not one to generally laugh at others, but when you go out in public wearing some of the things these people wear, then your setting yourself up to be looked at.

A few days ago I was on the train and this girl got on. She plopped down, not in a seat, but on the train stairs and assumed this less than ladylike position. I took the picture so my friend Bobbi could see her without turning around and making it obvious we were staring at her.

Later she stood up and for whatever reason kept pulling up her dress. It was cheap entertainment at it’s finest.

it’s no secret that I’m scared of the dark, so last night when we were walking back to our cottage about 12:45, I couldn’t help but feel a little creeped out.

I had my “eye” with me (just in case someone jumped out of the bushes and started chasing us and I needed to call the police), and we came to this part of the path back and I thought it would make a cool picture. The result on the “eye” was a little creepy.

I’ve been following Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution for a while now and it has amazed me how he has been able to get people in WV to see what they are doing to their children, and also to each other.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think that Huntington is the ONLY place that needs help, but he started there based in death statistics.

What I do think is that it’s time we woke up out of our carb and sugar induced comas and REALLY started thinking about what we are putting in our bodies.

What do you think of Jamie’s efforts and do YOU think we need a Food Revolution?

Marcel and I had yet another discussion a few days ago about him wanting to stop smoking. Thankfully he doesn’t smoke anywhere near me because I’m allergic, but I worry about his health. I won’t even touch on the prices, although he said someone told him he could get better prices by buying e-cigarettes, but truth be told, for his health, I just wish he’d quit. I know it’s one of those things he’s going to have to decide on his own though, so I’ll just have to wait until that time comes and support him when it does.

Anyone want to go for a bike ride? Took this picture with my “eye” from the train. Looks like a lit of people pedaled their way to the station this morning.
